As the term implies, tutti frutti is a mix of fruits. A compote, an ice cream or the like made of various fruits whose flavors enhance each other. Tutti frutti in the language of industrial flavoring has another meaning: bubblegum. L’Instant is a well-behaved musky tutti flori in the bubblegum style.

L’Instant isn’t so much bland as indistinct. It’s a blurry, sultry perfume that doesn’t quite suggest tropical flowers. It’s less an idealized abstract floral fragrance than a loud, hazy floral flavor. Lack of evolution over time only exacerbates the problem.
